ULTRA-TAC is a premium quality pressure sensitive spray adhesive formulated for bonding a wide variety of insulation materials and building wraps to steel, aluminium, wood and concrete. UTLRA-TAC can be used single-sided due to its ultra tacky consistency, or double-sided as a contact adhesive for more aggressive bonds. ULTRA-TAC is an excellent choice for bonding fibre glass, polyester and polystyrene insulation to steel and other porous and non-porous substrates. ULTRA-TAC is commonly used for attaching building wraps and polystyrene directly onto steel framing prior to cladding due to its high speed application and ease of use.
COMMON USES
Bonds Insulation Material to Ducting, Bonds Building Wrap & Polystyrene to Steel Framing, Bonds Polystyrene to a Variety of Substrates, Bonds Carpet & Underlay, Tape Primer on Porous Surfaces, Formwork Construction
BONDS ULTRA-TAC will bond almost any substrate and remain permanently tacky, substrates include: duct insulation, steel, aluminium, fiberglass, Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS), polyester, MDF, particleboard and plywood, urethane foam, FRP, carpet, felt, fabrics, paper products, corflute and most plastics.
ADVANTAGES
Pressure Sensitive
Single or Double
Sided Application
Polystyrene Safe
Waterproof
Long Open Time
No Ozone Depleting Substances
Low Odour
High Coverage
High Solids
PREPARATION For best results all surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, oil, loose paint, wax and grease. The temperature of the adhesive and the surfaces being bonded should ideally be between 15°C - 27°C.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
